About the role
We seek a high-potential Global Assistant Brand Manager with a strong FMCG/Beauty industry marketing background. As a member of the Reckitt Intimate Wellness (IW) Category Growth Organization(CGO), you will support to drive business growth by developing a robust innovation pipeline based on deep consumer understanding and competitive insights. You will support design-for-China IW innovation project development and global innovation roll-out to China, through a comprehensive operation model by gaining maximized support from cross function teams both in local & global, managing through complexity in matrix organization.
Your responsibilities
- Innovation support & management
- Work with insight team on consumer insight understanding, market trend, and competition tracking & analysis to feed innovation idea generation.
- Support new initiative development for China, driving ideation, concept validation, and product development together with global & local cross functional project teams on time and on quality.
- Support China JV innovation development by short-term pipeline development, validation, and product delivery, provide guidance and support to manage Reckitt process as needed.
- Support the delivery of global innovation to China through a comprehensive operation model with full support of cross function teams, managing through complexity for long-term pipeline.
- Support to rollout key projects from China mainland to HK, TW, Japan, and Korea per request.
- X-function collaboration & management
- Multiple stakeholder management, including global leaders, cross functional teams, China JV business partners, local cross functional teams, and external partners.
- Understand global category & cross functional organization and local operation model, to facilitate effective & efficient project management with global and local cross functional teams.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree, major in marketing, commercial, business management, PMP preferred.
- 3 years of brand management experience, including product innovation and brand building experience in consumer goods. Experience in beauty category or personal care is a must. Experience in both MNC in China and China local enterprises, and mastery of both MNC & local innovation process is a plus.
- Mastery of MNC innovation development process is a must. Has solid innovation related skills & experience including consumer & market insight analysis, innovation idea generation, concept development & validation, product development, commercialization based on in-depth business & insight understanding.
- Data & insight gathering & analysis skill is a must.
- Excellent or native in both written & verbal Chinese and English is a must. Strong communication and people skills, with ability to influence and drive collaboration at a local China level and on a global level.
- A problem solver. Can-do attitude & strong resilience and high agility.
- Hands on, attention to details with clear priority setting.
- Open minded, quick learner, and has the ability to manage ambiguity.
