You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.

About the role

2-year contract

As Site Lead, you will take ownership of the Shanghai, China, Centre of Excellence (CoE) stream of our global R&D LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) deployment project. You will play a pivotal role in digitalising R&D operations through deploying LIMS in China’s new, flagship CoE site, ensuring that technology empowers our R&D teams to operate more efficiently and effectively.

Why This Role Matters

Leading the Shanghai CoE phase of a global LIMS implementation, you will be at the heart of driving digital transformation for R&D. Collaborating closely with IT&D and business teams—both locally in China and globally across Reckitt—you will unlock value, enhance standardisation, and improve compliance through LIMS deployment.

This is a high-impact role, critical in aligning local site needs with the R&D digital strategy, ensuring successful implementation and maximum benefits for Reckitt’s R&D teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Leading the implementation of LIMS at the Shanghai CoE site as part of Reckitt’s global rollout.
  • Managing the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery, stakeholder engagement, and adoption.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT&D, business units, and R&D teams in China and globally.
  • Driving compliance, standardisation, and productivity gains through system adoption and process optimisation.

The experience we're looking for

You will succeed because you have experience in:

  • Managing large-scale projects in a regulated industry with a proven track record of delivering complex digital initiatives.
  • Leading multi-location projects, particularly in an R&D or laboratory setting.
  • LIMS implementation and laboratory operations (highly beneficial).
  • Computer System Validation (CSV) / Computer Software Assurance (CSA) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with R&D processes and regulatory requirements in China.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a strategic digital transformation initiative, making a significant impact on Reckitt’s R&D capabilities in China.
