About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of new and existing product development projects, from feasibility phase until launch in the market. You will be working with multi-functional project teams to ensure project is delivered on time and within scope. You will be responsible for building and managing project timelines, estimating and managing budget and resources, managing risks, monitoring progress and communicating status to upper management.
Your responsibilities
- Manage the development of key projects to deliver consumer preferred products for Reckitt powerbrand(s) from ideation until launch in the market(s)
- Coordinate activities and objectives with Marketing and R&D to advance assigned initiatives through the product development process to achieve desired cost targets and business results.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects.
- Ensure all parties involved in delivering project are held accountable for completion of actions on time and to required standards and resolve any arising issues (with support as required)
- Establish, communicate and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members and key project stakeholders via meetings, presentations and monthly status reports.
- Ensure budgets and cross-functional resources are identified, allocated and managed per project requirements
- Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to address specific project challenges/issues
- Use appropriate delegation/ influencing techniques as a vehicle to deliver project actions.
- Lead project updates together with GBMMs (Global Brand Marketing Managers) towards key stakeholder forum updates, including flags for project changes (changes to scope, risks, resourcing, schedule) and Stage Gates
The experience we're looking for
- Exceptional Project Management skills and Microsoft Project skills
- BS/BA/MS degree, ideally in a related science or engineering, Master’s degree in business a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with product development within a FMCG environment, with a proven track record of delivery.
- Experience within Health or Medical Device industry is a plus.
- Experience of working with global project team is a plus
- Planning and organisational skills with good understanding of priority setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement and motivation
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility regarding changing priorities
- Entrepreneurial with an affinity for problem solving and innovation, and being solution-oriented
- Proven ability to work under pressure without compromising on deliverables.
