Our Shanghai Science & Innovation Centre—Reckitt’s largest R&D site in Asia, develops locally inspired health and hygiene innovations tailored for Chinese consumers, with potential to set new global standards.

About the role

The FLS program will be 3 years and will involve 3 rotations across different areas of the R&D business to build technical, project experience and capability.

The role will involve the responsibility for carrying out hands on product development activities on projects in one or more platforms of the Intimate Wellness R&D portfolio on brands such as Durex, K-Yand Intima.

The role will also involve projects and training specific to the Future Leadership Scheme to ensure collaboration and relationship building with other global FLS members and gain exposure to senior leaders within R&D.

Your responsibilities

  • Participation and completion of any projects or training associated with the global program.
  • Ensure technical aspects of the assigned projects are carried out as per the agreed timings and standards, with any issues or risks clearly highlighted to line manager in a timely manner.
  • Specific function / project work is likely to include laboratory activities for product development, pilot scale-up activities, claim and demo development, post launch review etc.
  • Coordination of factory/Co-Packer line trials, subsequent R&D qualification testing and validation prior to launch.
  • Contributing to team and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including CGO, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, PPM, Packaging and Supply.
  • Support idea/concept generation where appropriate.
  • Ensure all assigned development activity conforms to legislative, health & safety and environmental requirements.
  • Be aware, accountable and follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) rules & regulations
  • Enforce quality mind & awareness for working in area by following documented procedures & follow good documentation practice.

The experience we're looking for

  • Professional requirements: major in chemistry related preferred.
  • Education: master degree or above.
  • Excellent English reading, writing and oral skills.
  • High learning acumen, excellent logic, and analysis ability.
  • Efficient interpersonal communication skills, cross-functional communication, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent presentation, project management and influencing skills.
  • Possess a strong desire to be a leader and excellent leadership.
  • Able to adapt to work in a multicultural environment, overseas experience is a plus.
