About the role

As an R & D Category Assistant at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.

Your responsibilities

Technical expertise：

Good formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions, applied chemistry etc.

Project Responsibility：

Deliver related projects as per schedule for Germ Protection products (Dettol, Lysol and Harpic brands etc).

Key Challenges:

• Dedicated resource for Germ Protection projects. Communicate with cross functional team to deliver new and maintain existing products to the markets.
• Create technical protocol. Complete formulation analysis, validation, stability testing, lab/pilot/industrial trials and dossier preparation, make sure those R&D activities are performed on time in full and to the required internal and external standards to support project delivery/product development.
• Support daily Laboratory management including EHS, 5S and equipment maintenance etc.
• Support managing external tests and services.
• Make sure conduct R&D activity in compliance to Reckitt Quality Management System.

 

The experience we're looking for

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level Bachelor or above (chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or other relevant science/engineering), or Technician Certificate/Associate Degree or Diploma.
• Experience in a FMCG company is desirable.
• Good formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions, applied chemistry etc.
• Good laboratory Capable to conduct lab scale experiment.
• Capable for operating equipment for Chemical analysis (pH, viscosity, density and titration etc.)
• At least English CET-4 or relevant certificate, good in listening, reading and writing English.
