About the role
You will play an important role at Reckitt because you will lead end-to-end Quality delivery for New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and External Manufacturing Operations (EMO) across Greater China and North Asia. The role ensures products are designed, developed, validated, launched, and commercially supplied in compliance with Reckitt standards, regulatory requirements, and consumer expectations. Working across R&D, Supply, Regulatory, Marketing, Procurement, and external manufacturing partners, you will accelerate innovation while safeguarding quality, compliance, and business continuity.
Your responsibilities
- Lead quality governance for E2E NPD, EPD and EMO projects from concept through commercialization and lifecycle management.
- Provide quality leadership in cross-functional project teams, ensuring quality-by-design, risk assessment, validation and compliance requirements are embedded throughout development.
- Support due diligence, feasibility assessments and qualification activities for new products, technologies, suppliers and manufacturing sites.
- Manage EMO quality performance and ensure external manufacturers consistently comply with Reckitt quality standards, GMP, regulatory and customer requirements.
- Develop, maintain and govern quality systems, technical agreements, specifications and quality manuals with external partners.
- Lead supplier qualification, audits, surveillance and remediation activities in line with global audit programs and business requirements.
- Analyze manufacturing, release and quality performance data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement and proactively mitigate risks.
- Lead investigation of complaints, deviations, non-conformances and quality incidents, ensuring robust root cause analysis and effective CAPA implementation.
- Approve and release quality deliverables including GFS and project quality documentation in accordance with Reckitt procedures.
- Build a high-performing quality team and provide coaching, capability development and stakeholder engagement to support business growth.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor degree in science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Science, Medical Device, Chemistry or related discipline; Master degree preferred.
- 10+ years of QM experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality or Supplier Quality within FMCG, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, nutrition, cosmetics or related regulated industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading Quality activities for New Product Development and technology transfer projects.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001 and preferably ISO 13485 and ISO 22716 and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Qualified Lead Auditor with extensive supplier and contract manufacturer audit experience.
- Experience managing in-house manufacturing plus external manufacturing organizations and supplier quality governance programs.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management and continuous improvement capability; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic international environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, Influence leadership and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong Logic-structure-thinking, Break-through Courage and Make Difference Mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
