This can include defining and evolving our workplace strategy, managing office layouts, seating arrangements, meeting rooms and the associated services required to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of our facilities � including the physical assets such as furniture, equipment, and infrastructure.

About the role

Responsible for Workplace, Facilities, Real Estate and Security operations at the Shanghai Science & Innovation Centre, while supporting the Head of WFRE – ASEAN, ANZ & Greater China in the management of the commercial Real Estate portfolio across Greater China & North Asia, including lease renewals, Workplace projects and regional facilities governance.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage the R&D SIC site on a day-to-day basis ensuring the smooth running of the facility and providing a level of facility operational assurance / confidence to local R&D management.
  • Manage the site facility budget at an operational level ensuring that the facility costs are tracked and recorded and used in monthly cost reviews with Head of Region to identify trends and adherence to budgets etc. Ensure purchase orders and necessary receipting and close out of PO’s is maintained to assure consistent and accurate reporting is maintained.
  • Manage the day-to-day interface with external service providers (Hard and Soft Services), ensuring service levels are maintained while promoting regional service standards, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure Hard Services maintenance requirements (PPM, Breakdown and Statutory Systems) are managed and maintained in a consistent and appropriate manner.
  • Ensure monthly meetings with service providers are held and service is reviewed to assure Reckitt that performance levels and targets are being achieved.
  • Ensure site Security and associated security systems are continually checked for performance and conformity and necessary escalation procedures exist in the event of failures.
  • Manage site evacuations and safety notices appropriately to ensure safety across the site. Working with Site HSE Manager ensure risk assessments and safe systems of work are employed at all times and a current site Facilities centric BCP plan is maintained.
  • Long side the site service providers and external contractors that the site Permit to Work system is maintained and adhered to for works ongoing within the SIC.
  • Manage smaller project works as necessary on site. Where larger projects are commissioned then assist in the appointment of necessary contracted PMCC support (Supported by wider WFRE team).
  • Support site audits as required through participation and provision of records and documentation, while sharing best practices and lessons learned with other Greater China locations to drive continuous improvement.

  • Real Estate Management
  • Health and safety
  • Contracts Management
  • Finance / Budgetary control experience

Ideally the above should be supported by a 1st Degree qualification.
