Scope / Dimensions of Role

  • Provide the quality support for the product portfolio in Japan
  • Ensure on-going quality compliance of Reckitt existing product portfolio
  • Lead and co-ordinate the resolution of quality issues affecting products in the country

Your responsibilities

Commercial Quality Assurance- All Products – Japan

  • Reckitt Global Quality standards(Manual, SOPs) implementation and Improvement
  • To manage and lead all Japan Commercial QA team
  • Ensures Quality improvement (Quality investigation, FMEA, etc.)
  • Lead QC related issues and CAPAs 
  • Maintain robust and effective change control system 
  • Training for Reckitt Japan DC 
  • To manage QC lab. and QC data (Regulated FGs)
  • To prepare products technical dossiers and quality standard document
  • Responsible to develop and implement the global & local Business Management System (BMS) to ensure fully compliant regulated products.     
  • Work with local functions to develop and maintain all relevant procedures
  • Develop and maintain robust and effective change control system to ensure compliant Market Authorizations
  • Coordinate with marketing, supply and other stakeholders for NPD and EPD launch (project management)
  • Product Recall – establish and communicate responsibilities.   Conduct mock recalls
  • Train all staff in commercial organization on all activities required by BMS
  • Responsible for initial assessment and approval of Distributors & Embellishers handling regulated
  • Responsible for all internal and external (competent authority and notified body) audits including CAPA

The experience we're looking for

  • Must meet QP requirement in Japan(品質保証責任者、国内品質業務運営責任者) . A higher degree (Master, PhD) is also preferable.
  • Language skills:  Fluent in Japanese and English
  • Experience in handling corporate crisis management and issues resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities effectively
  • Proven experience in leading multi-functional and multi-cultural project teams, virtually
