About the role
Coordinates, facilitates and takes lead of Supply related business meetings cross-functionally to enhance the business results/objectives.
Your responsibilities
- Plan production, and confirm forecast and production orders to all allocated manufacturers. This includes aligning production requirements with supplier capacity and availability of raw materials and packaging, and challenging suppliers to rearrange production schedules where necessary for supply.
- Take lead and facilitate the internal business meetings related to Supply as a New Product project manager
- Ensure right amount of stock is being held, and that supplier actions are followed up during the week to ensure stock issues do not impact Service Level
- Project timeline management involving with Cress Function (Regulatory Affaires, R&D, Quality Assurance, Trade Marketing and Marketing)
- Trade Sample preparation
- Manage Cost saving Project
- Manage SKU Rationalization Project
Experiences / skills we're looking for
- Supply Chain Experience (Planning or Manufacturing) - Minimum 3 years
- Project Manager Experience – Minimum 2 years
- Language skills: English & Japanese (Business level)
- Project management
- High energy, sense of urgency and results-oriented with global mindset
- A real passion for operations and willingness to throw yourself into a varied and busy role which will develop your career
- Meet the requirement for a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Committed and strong team player
- Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with all level of employees and across geographic and organizational boundaries
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure
- Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adhering to specified deadlines.
- Must have a solid understanding within a leading FMCG company
- A positive 'can do’ attitude
