Summary

IT partner of the business focusing both on the strategic and tactical needs of Japan/Korea to activate their technology investments & advance business value through digital.

Her/his primary focus will be managing the IT&D relationship with every department, complete IT projects (whether local or global), ensure that IT cost is spent within budget and solve users' day-to-day IT problems.

About the role

IT&D Business Analyst is a key role in the Greater China/North Asia IT&D organization, responsible for managing the needs of local users while fully communicating with global teams.

IT&D Business Analyst will be responsible for project implementation of local user requirements, and accountable for driving global projects deployment. She/he will establish good cooperative relationships with leaders from various departments, listen to their needs, and implement excellent project management to meet user expectations.

The role is based in Tokyo Japan and will collaborate with various departments to jointly promote the progress of IT&D projects, not only to implement the headquarters' requirements for IT construction in Japan/Korea, but also to seek resources from local sources to meet the needs of local users. She/he reports to the Greater China IT&D Commercial Manager, will become an important member of the Greater China/North Asia IT&D team.

The role is part of a wider of business facing IT personnel taking account of all of Reckitt’s Core business.

Your responsibilities

• Build relationships (virtually and in-person) with every department of Japan/Korea.
• Must be confident to guide and challenge the thinking of leaders through superior communication and presentation skills.
• Oversight on the project management with enough process understanding to present solutions to business teams, whilst equally articulating problems to technical or delivery teams. He/she is to develop a strong understanding of and actively exploit the benefits of key applications used in Reckitt.
• Sound judgment and strong IT and commercial acumen: persistent and focused on the best possible outcome for Reckitt and aligning outcomes to the business goals; In line with agreed plans ensure successful delivery of local and global projects.
• Ensure global technical and information standards are always implemented and complied with.
• Good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Chinese, Japanese and English; should communicate well with local staff in Japanese, and use English as working language.
• Attitude and aptitude to thrive in a fast-moving, demanding, dynamic and ambiguous environment, with the personal integrity to make positive change and continuously look for improvement opportunities.

The experience we're looking for

• 5 years of experience in IT&D
• Strong communication skills in English and Japanese. Chinese language skill is a plus.
