Summary

IT partner of the business focusing both on the strategic and tactical needs of Japan/Korea to activate their technology investments & advance business value through digital.

About the role

• IT&D SBA - Japan/Korea is a key role in the GC+NA IT&D organization, responsible for managing the needs of local users while fully communicating with global teams.
• IT&D SBA - Japan/Korea will be responsible for project implementation of local user requirements, and accountable for driving global projects deployment. She/he will establish good cooperative relationships with leaders from various departments, listen to their needs, and implement excellent project management to meet user expectations.
• IT&D SBA – Japan/Korea requires experience in ERP systems, especially SAP or JDE. He/she needs to have the ability to collaborate with global teams to implement SAP projects in Japan. He/she needs to have an understanding of PowerBI and be able to personally solve specific problems related to PowerBI in Japan.
• IT&D SBA will be responsible for the expenses and plan/forecast of the IT&D department in Japan. Ensure that the annual expenses are within the plan/forecast.
• The role is based in Tokyo, Japan. IT&D SBA - Japan/Korea will collaborate with various departments to jointly promote the progress of IT&D projects, not only to implement the headquarters' requirements for IT construction in Japan/Korea, but also to seek resources from local sources to meet the needs of local users.
• IT&D SBA - Japan/Korea reports to the GC IT&D Commercial Manager, will become an important member of the GC+NA IT&D team. The role is part of a wider of business facing IT personnel taking account of all of Reckitt’s Core business.

Your responsibilities

• The IT&D SBA – Japan/Korea will need to build relationships (virtually and in-person) with every department of Japan/Korea.
• IT&D SBA – Japan/Korea must be confident to guide and challenge the thinking of leaders through superior communication and presentation skills. 
• Oversight on the project management with enough process understanding to present solutions to business teams, whilst equally articulating problems to technical or delivery teams. He or she is to develop a strong understanding of and actively exploit the benefits of key applications used in Reckitt.
• Sound judgment and strong IT and commercial acumen: persistent and focused on the best possible outcome for Reckitt and aligning outcomes to the business goals; In line with agreed plans ensure successful delivery of local and global projects.
• Ensure global technical and information standards are always implemented and complied with. 
• Good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Chinese, Japanese and English; should communicate well with local staff in Japanese, and use English as working language.
• Attitude and aptitude to thrive in a fast-moving, demanding, dynamic and ambiguous environment, with the personal integrity to make positive change and continuously look for improvement opportunities. ies.

The experience we're looking for

• Over 8 years of experience in IT&D
• Strong communication skills in English and Japanese. Chinese language skill is a plus.
