About the role
The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast as a key part of company S&OP process, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, Sales Analysts, and other sources.
Your responsibilities
- Manage the creation and evaluation of the monthly forecast by SKU by analyzing various sales (Online/Offline channels) and market consumption (Intage and POS from specific customers) historical data.
- Lead monthly pre-S&OP/S&OP meetings to align company sales forecast with Trade marketing, sales and marketing based on the forecast built by demand planner. Get the latest information from cross functional team and reflect into forecast.
- Kinaxis Rapid Response Demand planning module Superuser role. Lead full implementation/utilization co-working with Global E2E(End to End) training team.
- Lead the creation of NPD (New launch products) forecast together with commercial team by utilizing inputs and historical sales data.
- Drive forecast accuracy improvement with Online/Offline key accounts by communicating with related team closely.
- Work with supply planners closely sharing sales forecast to ensure service level.

Skills and experiences we're looking for
- Previous demand forecasting or supply planning experience preferably in an FMCG environment - Minimum 3 years
- Highly analytical and numerate
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure
- Sense of responsibility and ownership
- Committed and strong team player
- Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with all level of employees across organizational boundaries
- Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adhering to specified deadlines
- Proven expertise and skills household/pharma product manufacturing technologies advantageous
- Good working knowledge on Excel (vlookup, pivot, sumif are minimum required skillset), Power BI and Kinaxis Rapid Response/SAP/JDE knowledge and experience is an added advantage.
- English and Japanese skills (Speaking/Writing) are MUST
