Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
The Account Executive (Essential Home) is responsible for managing and growing key Modern Trade and Perfumery customers by driving customer partnerships, commercial planning, P&L management, and business development initiatives. The role focuses on end-to-end account management, including annual and periodical planning, data-driven decision making, negotiation, and execution follow-up. This position requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and ownership of customer performance while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and develop Modern Trade and Perfumery customer accounts
- Drive customer partnerships and lead commercial negotiations
- Own account planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Manage commercial initiatives with a P&L mindset
- Analyze data to generate insights and define action plans
- Identify and develop business growth opportunities
- Lead execution follow-up across customers and internal teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain
- Monitor KPIs and ensure delivery of commercial targets
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Modern Trade and/or Perfumery channels
- Proven experience in customer management and field execution
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to convert data into actions
- Commercial mindset with solid understanding of sales and P&L dynamics
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Valid driving license and flexibility for frequent field visits
