Your responsibilities

Scope\Dimensions of role:

•    Direct leadership of the Site Technical function (team size depending on site size)
•    Accountable for delivery of high number of concurrent NPD/EPD, OOS, BCP, site transfers and/or productivity projects
•    Influence Factory CapEx strategy and procurement sourcing

Key responsibilities:
•    Leadership & Strategy
o    Set technical strategy and manufacturing technology destination
o    Build, coach, and allocate resources across a high performing team
o    Team engagement
o    Annual plan / execution
o    Link to other factories and networking/benchmarking/best practice
•    New Product Introduction & Portfolio Delivery
o    Lead NPD/EPD rollout and activity management (where applicable)
o    Manage SKU complexity and launch sequencing
•    Technology Transfer & Validation
o    Operate the Technology Transfer process
o    Own the Site Validation Program – Quality own it here we execute
•    Process Development and Industrial engineering
o    Drive process development and improvement
o    Working with Value Creation team, Lead cost optimization initiatives (X Trim, PPV, Squeeze)
o    Risk mitigation (monosource/BCP)
•    Operations Support & Compliance
o    Provide ad hoc technical support
o    Ensure compliance with local and/or regional standards

The experience we're looking for

Qualification & Experience:
•    Degree in Science or Engineering
•    10+ years industry experience in Pharmaceuticals and/or FMCG business
•    In depth knowledge and experience of manufacturing technology
•    Demonstrated leadership of technical teams
•    Knowledge of local / regional requirements
•    Fluent in English
