About the role

Reporting to the PMO Manager, the PMO Support is responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional programme and project management service to all appropriate stakeholders within the Controls Transformation Programme. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support on projects and programmes of business change, working closely with the wider programme team, managing and tracking of programme actions, risks and issues and lessons learnt.

 

This is a project focused role with a start date in June 2025. 

Your responsibilities

  • Support the PMO Manager, Programme Manager and Project Managers across a diverse range of activities such as supporting governance, document management and acting as a source of programme information and metrics for the programme.  
  • Champion the best practice project/programme delivery against standards and processes 
  • Maintenance of project artefacts as required:  RAID, POAP and Programme schedule 
  • Assist with the compilation of consolidated status reports, and project progress metrics 
  • Monitor, chase and report on outstanding actions and deliverables (internal and external) 
  • Assist with the minuting, follow up and preparation of key governance forums supporting the project/programme Managers and PMO Manager 
  • Oversee contingent workers on boarding processes and maintain the documentation in compliance with organization standards 
  • Manage third party deliverables, Statements of Work (SOW) and supporting evidence, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines and contractual obligations 
  • Prepare presentation decks as required 
  • Administer and assist project governance meetings 
  • Maintain the documentations repository for the programme 
  • Support daily business rhythm with the management of monthly highlight reports, tasking records and regular checkpoint meetings 
  • Manage stakeholders taking account of their levels of influence and interest

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience of collating, summarising and presenting information, with different purposes and for different audiences 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills 
  • Ability to adapt to change 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel
