About the role
The Embellishment Team Lead provides senior leadership across embellishment led New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and promotional activity for the NEU business. The role is accountable for setting direction, leading cross-functional delivery, and ensuring embellishment projects deliver against service, cost, gross margin, sustainability, and strategic business objectives.
Operating as the senior escalation point, the role drives alignment across Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners, enabling efficient, on-time launches while continuously improving capability, cost structure, and ways of working.
Your responsibilities
- Lead strategic NPD/EPD initiatives in embellishment from concept to flawless launch, influencing innovation, sustainability, and financial performance across the NEU region.
- Partner with senior cross‑functional leaders across Planning, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to shape priorities and steer key business decisions.
- Drive productivity and cost‑efficiency, leading initiatives that boost operational performance and strengthen partnerships with co‑packers and packaging suppliers.
- Oversee packaging development and risk management, ensuring manufacturability, sustainability, and reduced obsolescence across the product lifecycle.
- Empower and develop talent, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high performance within the embellishment function.
The experience we're looking for
- Strong Supply Chain foundation (including basic logistics & planning excellence) with proven experience in FMCG and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Solid analytical and financial acumen, capable of interpreting data, assessing ROI, and supporting business‑critical decisions.
- Effective relationship‑builder and communicator, able to influence stakeholders and navigate complex environments.
- Intermediate project management capability, with the ability to lead initiatives end‑to‑end; advanced PM or manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviours, including ownership, accountability, and the ability to drive alignment across teams.
