The Enterprise Security Architect will play an integral role with the definition and assessment of the organisation's security strategy, architecture and practices. The security architect will be required to effectively translate business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies and services.

Candidates should have a diverse security experience and be able to demonstrate a background in at least 3 of the following areas:

•    General Security Good Practices including Cloud Security Alliance 
•    Application Security
•    Cloud Security 
•    Digital Security
•    Networking Security
•    End User Security
•    Identity and Access (ID&A)

 

The security architect will be responsible for the following activities and functions:

  • To integrate and work within a defined security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities in the Cloud that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers
  • To assist with the development of security strategy plans and roadmaps based on industry and best practice security architecture practices that align with On Prem and Cloud environments
  • Contribute, author, or maintain (as appropriate) and communicate a set of architecture artefacts: Standards & policies/ Guard rails/ Patterns and anti-patterns/ Guidance on choice (decision tree, cloud assessment, etc.)/ Principles
  • Develop and maintain cloud security technology stacks across cloud platforms that re-usable and re-producible 

  • Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artifacts

  • Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security-planning advice and consultancy to ensure solutions are conforming to best security practices
