GBS Cost Allocation & Billing Manager (Contract)

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end calculation of GBS cost allocations and cross-charges
- Review, maintain and enhance allocation models to support forecast, interim and year-end billing cycles
- Work closely with Finance, GBS and business stakeholders to validate allocation methodologies, cost drivers and billing structures
- Support the refresh and validation of financial models using actuals and forecast data
- Monitor actual costs against forecast allocations and investigate variances
- Analyse and resolve cost, allocation and billing queries within SAP
- Collaborate with the GBS billing team to ensure timely and accurate execution of service billings
- Ensure all calculations, assumptions and supporting documentation are appropriately controlled, referenced and audit-ready
- Provide insight and recommendations to improve the efficiency, accuracy and governance of the cost allocation process
- Support the successful delivery of Finance Transformation milestones relating to shared service cost recovery and charging
Skills / Experience
- Qualified or part-qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience).
- Strong finance, management accounting, cost allocation or financial analysis background.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience building and maintaining financial models.
- Experience working with SAP and investigating transactional and cost data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage large datasets and perform complex reconciliations.
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills across Finance and operational teams.
- Experience of shared services, intercompany billing, cost allocations or service recharging processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience within a large multinational organisation
- Experience supporting Finance Transformation or ERP-enabled change programmes
- Knowledge of transfer pricing, service recharges or intercompany cost recovery processes
- Experience working with shared service centres or global business services organisations
