About the role

The Training Lead role is part of the GBS Supply Organisational Change Management Team who are responsible for coaching the deployment sites through their change journey to maximise system adoption and achieve stabilization of new processes and ways of working. 

The GBS Supply Training Lead will support the successful implementation of the global GBS Supply Transformation programme by being accountable for ensuring new GBS Supply end users have the right skill, capability and understanding of new processes and system to ensure smooth adoption and minimal business disruption.  This includes oversight of the design, development, delivery, monitoring and reporting of training programmes and tools.

This person will be responsible for managing central GBS Supply activities. Occasional travel to site will be required to onboard the local training team, to engage local senior leaders on the importance of releasing their teams to attend mandatory training and to perform training readiness assessments.

Your responsibilities

Leadership

  • Responsible for the super user and end user learning experience needed to ensure development of skills and capabilities for successful system go live and process stabilisation across the hubs and local markets
  • Develop and manage the execution of a central training plan that supports the OCM Strategy
  • Accountability and ownership of the GBS Supply Training strategy, methodology, tools and materials
  • Maintain an awareness of learning technologies and future trends to look at where relevant to our OCM strategy improvements
  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvements from each deployment including opportunities for simplification/automation of training process, tools and templates   

 

Deployment

  • Ownership of the deployment training plan and full accountability of all GBS Supply Training related activities including Knowledge Transfer, Super User & End User Training, as well as GSOP administration
  • Onboard, oversee and mentor the local OCM resources in the deployment markets to ensure execution of all training activities on time and to a high standard
  • Management of usage and maintenance of training client and associated global data necessary to deliver training exercises
  • Effectively design, execute, manage and report the CR training impact process

 

Governance

  • Typical project management responsibilities including planning, status reporting, recording risks/issues/dependencies and ensuring appropriate escalations
  • Close collaboration with PMO for training related deliverables and input for Toll Gates and Check Points
  • Conduct regular training audits and make recommended improvements

The experience we're looking for

  • Prior experience as a Training Lead is essential
  • Proficient in global rollouts of a template solution
  • Experience of the full lifecycles of a technical systems implementation, ideally across global implementations

The skills for success

  • Deep knowledge of training authoring/development tools & learning management systems, SuccessFactors LMS preferred. Training certification preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
  • Excellent English language skills both verbal and written
  • Passionate about the power of L&D
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with others with effective communication and influencing skills
  • Determined and resilient to identify resolutions to issues within own span of control
  • Strategic and Operational experience, ability to manage/delegate but also to roll sleeves up and get stuck into detail as and when needed
