About the role

This global role supports Group Insurance Director in a senior position within the group insurance function to provide effective insurance, risk management and compliance solutions to all Reckitt business entities globally. The role includes liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners (brokers, adjusters, captive managers, insurers) to deliver excellent service.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

- Placement and management of global major insurances programmes.

- Working with Captive as a member of the board.

- Building relationships and liaising with insurance brokers in renewal process, projects and midyear activities

- Provide support for acquisition and divestiture activities.

- Actively manage large complex claims.

- Be the groups insurance expert and respond to queries from the business and providing advice.   

- Collaborate with members of other corporate teams including Finance, Legal, Environment Health & Safety, and Human Resources.

- Support Risk Management and Insurance activities across the group e.g.   Property Loss Control, Contract Reviews

The experience we're looking for

- Experience required in corporate insurance/risk management within a large commercial organisation or international insurance broker or insurer - minimum 8 years

- Experience of working on global insurance programmes

- Experience of placing insurance and full end-to-end renewal processes

- Experience of best practice global insurance, loss prevention, risk engineering and claims handling practices

- Broad technical insurance policy knowledge

- Preferred Professional Qualification – ACII or similar
