The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in enabling business performance and leadership capability across the market. Key areas of accountability include:

 

Strategic People Partnership:
Provide end‑to‑end HR business partnering and ownership for the Field Sales and Early Careers populations, aligning people plans to commercial strategy, workforce capability, performance management, talent progression, and succession needs.

Employee Relations & Case Management:
Lead and deliver comprehensive employee relations support across the market, drawing on strong prior experience in disciplinary and grievance processes, investigations, absence management, and organisational change and restructuring. Ensure consistent application of policy, effective risk management, and fair, timely resolution of ER matters.

Leadership, Capability & Culture:
Facilitate and deliver leadership and behavioural development initiatives that reinforce our organisational values, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and build the next generation of leaders, with a clear focus on culture, inclusion, and sustainable performance. 

Your responsibilities

As a HR Business partner you will Partner with the leaders and the UK HR team to drive business value through our people. Implement effective HR solutions based on the HR strategy and local business objectives. 

 

Providing advice and support to management on all aspects of HR programs and activities 

  • Deliver the global and NEU HR strategy  
  • Partner and advise leaders on people topics
  • Support efficient and effective organisational design and change management initiatives 
  • Use strong commercial acumen to drive the people agenda
  • Drive employee reference groups and culture initiatives and positive relationships between the business and our people
  • Provide workforce analytics to anticipate challenges, opportunities, and trends
  • Hold and coach on courageous conversations to do the right thing in our business
  • Drive completion of business-as-usual HR processes such as cyclical training, PDR milestones, PDPs, pay reviews 

 

Partner with  leaders on all aspects of the employee life cycle, including:

  • Working with the talent acquisition team to recruit and onboard new hires
  • Facilitate the completion of talent and succession plans  
  • Manage employee relations issues and risks
  • Ensure leaders and have culture action plans for their teams
  • Managing people cost and planning for the future
  • Deliver global leadership programmes and partner with talent COE to adapt global development programmes to local needs
  • Ensure compliance with all local labour laws and global HR policies
  • Implement agreed reward systems in line with global policies and tools; lead and participate in benchmarking and updating market compensation including recommendations to HRD
  • HR project work that may span EUANZ

The experience we're looking for

Skills 

  • Strong knowledge of UK labour legislation and employee relations landscape 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders on all facets of the employee life cycle 
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the Reckitt business  
  • Ability to align people initiatives and HR strategy with the business agenda 
  • Driven to plan and execute on people initiatives per plan 
  • Capacity to have courageous conversations with leaders, employees and leadership teams – speaking with openness and integrity  
  • Ability to coach leaders and facilitate crucial conversations 
  • Use people data to provide and drive action on business insights  
  • Ability to prioritise,  
  • Role models Reckitt Leader Behaviours – Own, Deliver, Create and Care 

 

Qualifications and Experience  

  • Degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related; or experience deemed equivalent  
  • Experience working in a highly commercial, business is advantageous 
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end HR generalist activities and ability to work independently as part of a geographically separate team 
  • Commitment to driving diversity and inclusion.
