About the role
A fantastic development opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to gain exposure to our businesses and leadership across the Group.
The Investor Relations team has an exciting agenda over the coming years as we communicate to the investment community our strategy, and the opportunities ahead, as we streamline Reckitt, divest non-core assets, and focus on our incredible powerbrands. We will evolve the way that we interact with our investors, wider external stakeholders, as well as internal stakeholders, as we bring about an educating and engaging series of events that will go beyond our results, to include hybrid/virtual events, seminars, and podcasts.
We are looking for someone to proactively support the Investor Relations team in the effective and efficient communication of information and insight between Reckitt and its investment community by;
- Supporting the interface with investors and analysts to ensure timely, accurate and effective communication of the Group’s business activities, strategy financial performance and prospects, to ensure that the reputation and financial strength of the Group is fairly reflected by the investment community, and
- Informing leadership with insights that help guide, support and drive Reckits’s strategic ambitions.
The Investor Relations team is based in Turner House, Slough, however there is flexibility in the location for this role as we move to a hybrid working model.
Your responsibilities
- Support the development of content on key designated areas of Investor Relations activity, including in relation to the announcement of financial results, M&A, investor meetings, roadshows, site visits, capital markets days and events.
- Take ownership of the IR consensus model and provide insight to the team through analytical review of earnings and valuation.
- Support the programme to increase visibility and awareness of the IR strategy across Reckitt, including sharing analyst research and market reaction from key events, presenting in relevant forums and managing our internal IR website.
- Oversee the development of the external IR website creating engaging content for investors and leading the day to day management of the site.
- Work with the digital team to create and implement a social media plan to communicate key investor messages.
- Support regular internal reporting to management, providing data and insight for Exec and Board papers.
- Conduct regular shareholder benchmarking analysis of underweight and overweight holdings vs peers and use this to inform the investor targeting strategy.
- Work with the Corporate Access Manager to support investor roadshows and events, including internal and external logistics, event marketing and meeting organisation.
The experience we're looking for
- Sound knowledge of financial information and reporting.
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACT / CFA or equivalent) is desirable.
- An understanding of, or keen interest in, the Equities markets.
- Pro-active, self-starter with strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong excel modelling skills.
- Strong communication skills including reporting writing, presentation preparation and delivery.
- Ability to review, interpret and distil information to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across geographies.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
