About the role
This role will lead and facilitate the global sourcing strategy, negotiation, and supplier relationship management for professional services categories (consulting, legal, HR, tax, audit, advisory, and business services) as well as complex outsourcing agreements. Operating at the heart of indirect procurement, the position is highly strategic and will embed procurement excellence across the Source-to-Contract process, ensuring value creation, contractual protection, and service excellence on a global scale.
You will work closely with senior leaders across Corporate Functions: Finance, IT&D, HR, Supply as well as with Reckitt Strategic external partners, positioning Procurement as a trusted advisor in shaping business transformation and outsourcing strategy.
Your responsibilities
Global Category Strategy & Governance: Define and implement global category strategies for professional services and outsourcing. Align across geographies, business functions, and senior stakeholders, balancing standardization with flexibility.
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & Value Realization: Lead all negotiations and strategies with a TCO lens, ensuring contracts deliver sustainable cost efficiencies, quality of service, and innovation beyond initial savings. Strong understanding of different commercial models and ensure outcomes are measured and delivered advising the business on the right framework and governance model. As a strategic advisory robost commercial structures should be easily understood with value delivery looking at contracting entities, tax implications, fx strategies and other key levers based on Deal .
Outsourcing Deal Leadership: Own the commercial strategy, negotiations, and contracting for global outsourcing deals (e.g., IT, BPO, shared services). Structure agreements to maximize value, flexibility, and risk management and ensure execution vs contractual commitments.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Drive the Joint Business planning process in collaboration with the business. Defining and driving JBP strategies with top consulting firms, legal providers, and outsourcing partners. Create transparency, deliver innovation pipelines, and hold suppliers accountable for performance.
Contracting & Risk Management: Lead high-value negotiations with legal, financial, and operational complexity. Partner closely with Legal and Finance to ensure contracts are robust, commercially competitive, and aligned to strategic objectives with the right governance models in place
• Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence: Actively partner with senior business leaders to challenge demand, shape outsourcing strategies, and ensure procurement is embedded at the earliest stages of decision-making
• Value Beyond Savings: Drive initiatives such as supplier innovation, simplification of supplier base, and professional services optimization. Focus on measurable business outcomes, not just cost savings. Deliver internal Bootcamps on Procurement ways of working
Technology-Enabled Procurement: Leverage digital procurement tools (SmartBuy, eSourcing contract management platforms, Spend Cube, NWC traker and analytics,) to enable value deliver, visibility, compliance, and speed in sourcing decisions.
Spend Control Tower Process Leadership (SCT): Active member of the SCT process to review and manage demand, ensuring right sourcing process, risk mitigation, and compliance. Establish templates, playbooks, and frameworks to enable efficient, high-quality contracting.
The experience we're looking for
• Proven experience in strategic procurement within professional services and/or global outsourcing deals.
• Comfortable leading large, complex negotiations with global consulting firms, outsourcing partners, and law firms.
• Strong understanding commercial models, contract structures, and risk mitigation in professional services and outsourcing agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leadership across multiple functions.
• Experience is successful partnering with large external suppliers to deliver outcomes
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to communicate, build rapport, and influence at all levels.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting negotiation styles to achieve outcomes.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on deal execution.
• Experience working in a multinational environment with cross-border stakeholder management.
• Creative problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of professional services markets, outsourcing models, and emerging trends.
