About the role
Seeking a visionary Senior Brand Manager to elevate our leading brands to new heights in dynamic markets worldwide. Immerse yourself in customer insights and market trends, shaping the future of our products with your innovative ideas. As a key player in our marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to implement strategies that resonate on a global stage, bringing our brands to life both online and in stores. Your strategic input will craft ambitious plans, fostering sustainable growth and success for the long haul.
This position is responsible for driving Dettol/Sagrotan Innovation in Europe:
Your responsibilities
- Leads innovation pipeline for their segment brand and region, including Late-Phase Innovation Delivery and Stage-gate Approval.
- Leads local EPDs and BDIs.
- Key partner for the GBDs Innovation.
- Key partner with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of innovation on time and to quality.
Innovation:
- (NPD/EPD), Commercial Innovation, ecom and sustainability projects.
- Coordinate innovation supply strategy, clusterisation principles.
- Lead ‘local EPD’ and coordinate intention to launch Sizing/Pricing, roll out of existing SKU in new market or specific sizes for the area.
- Collect Area Business & Consumer Insights alongside Innovation Performance to feedback into category strategy and innovation (e.g., market opportunity analysis, consumer research).
- Develop and Lead post-launch reviews.
The experience we're looking for
Marketing experience:
- Must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills developed within the FMCG environment, including experience on the brand or the broader category.
- Experience in growing brands and categories.
- Experience with performance marketing and how to drive sustainable growth.
Innovation Experience:
- Must be able to demonstrate outstanding skills in innovation development and delivery.
- Idea generation and validation.
- Project delivery.
- Cross-organisation leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (CDO, MX, Sales, Key Lead Markets) – strong interpersonal skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders across different functions and levels of expertise
- Entrepreneurial and able to work autonomously.
- Strong sense of urgency and achievement.
- Leadership qualities in impacting, contributing and challenging business strategy, innovation, and creative and comms.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with markets with varying levels of portfolio and brand maturity.
