This position is responsible for driving Nurofen Innovation in Europe, leads innovation pipeline delivery for their segment/brand and region, including Late-Phase Innovation Delivery and Stage-gate Approval, adoption by markets, excellent execution and post launch follow through

Your responsibilities

•  Key partner for the Global Brand Director & Area brand director for Innovation delivery to markets, regional sufficiency, launch & follow through

•  Key partner with IMEX Market teams for their segment/ brand and region to ensure innovation adoption, excellent execution, and post launch management

•  Key partner with technical, market and global cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of innovation on time and to quality.

Contribute to 3 Year Strategic Plan for segment/ brand and region.

 

Innovation:

•  Oversee Late-Phase Innovation Delivery and Stage-gate Approval for Launch Reco for both Product (NPD/EPD), Commercial (BDI) Innovation, ecom and sustainability projects.

•  Coordinate innovation incl. TP, supply strategy, clusterization principles (New product innovation Support).

•  Lead 'local EPD' and coordinate intention to launch (ITL) - Sizing/Pricing, roll out of existing SKU in new market or specific sizes for the area.

•  Lead scalable BDls (business development ideas) e.g.,  new claims / audience based audience-based activation.

•  Collect Area Business & Consumer Insights along w/ Innovation Performance to feedback into category strategy and innovation (e.g., market opportunity analysis, consumer research).

•  Develop/ Lead post-launch reviews across multiple markets with recommendation on priorities & next steps

 

 

 

The experience we're looking for

 

Marketing experience:

  • Can demonstrate outstanding marketing skills developed within the FMCG/OTC environment, including experience on the brand or the broader category.
  • Experience in growing brands and categories with strong and sustainable strategies.
  • Experience with performance marketing and how to drive sustainable growth.
  • Innovation Experience: must be able to demonstrate outstanding skills in innovation development and delivery.
  • Idea generation and validation.
  • Project delivery.

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization (Global category, marketing excellence, Sales, Key Lead Markets) - strong interpersonal skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders across different functions and levels of expertise.
