About the role

This role is a Fixed Term Contract (approx. 12 - 15 months)

This role provides the opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to take ownership of the financial operations of Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) entities, within a dynamic and successful FTSE 20 company. The role focuses on management reporting, statutory reporting, compliance and governance oversight. You will be responsible for completion of accurate statutory accounts and managing audit processes. You will have direct exposure to senior executives, auditors, and global stakeholders (e.g. FP&A, Tax, Treasury).

Your responsibilities

As a member of the CHQ Finance controls team, you will be responsible for:
· Preparing statutory financial statements for UK CHQ entities.
· Managing external audit requirements, liaising with auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and issue resolution.
· Timely and accurate completion of month end tasks and balance sheet reconciliations.
· Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS and corporate governance requirements.
· Collaborating with Global Finance Services team to drive KPI improvements of outsourced tasks.
· Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.

· Manage third party royalties process.

Deliverables / Indicators Of Success

· Timely and accurate preparation of statutory accounts.
· Successful completion of external audits with minimal adjustments.
· Clear and concise reporting outputs for senior stakeholders.
· Strong compliance with internal controls and external reporting standards.
· Effective collaboration with the wider Group Finance (FP&A, Tax, Consolidation teams).

Professional Qualifications

ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification.

Skills & Experience

· Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly with IFRS and UK GAAP.
· Experience of statutory accounts preparation and/or audit.
· Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
· Background in audit (Big 4 or mid-tier) advantageous.
