About the role

Join our team as an Environmental Manager, where you’ll lead the charge in driving environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across our site. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage critical environmental programs, and ensure we meet and exceed regulatory standards. You’ll play a key part in reducing environmental impact, optimizing processes, and championing innovative solutions that protect our communities and the planet. Your responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all environmental permits and regulations (air, wastewater, stormwater, and chemical storage) while managing required monitoring and reporting.
  • Lead environmental programs by interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing impacts of process changes, new materials, or equipment.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring, data analysis, and recordkeeping to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs, including vendor coordination, storage, disposal, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Drive sustainability and continuous improvement efforts by leading projects that reduce emissions, waste, water usage, and overall environmental risk.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, ideally within chemical manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, SPCC, NPDES) and compliance requirements.
  • Experience interpreting and managing environmental permits along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with proficiency in environmental systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • This role is not currently offering VISA sponsorship.

US salary ranges

USD $93,000.00 -  $125,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
