About the role
In this role you will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function by coordinating hiring, employee records, onboarding and HR processes. You will provide administrative and operations support while serving as a point of contact for employees and managers while helping ensure HR activities are organized, compliant and delivered efficiently.
Your responsibilities
- Support the onboarding process, including coordinating New Hire Orientation, completing I-9 verification, collecting required new hire documentation, and ensuring all pre-employment requirements are completed.
- Track employee attendance, maintain attendance records, and support reporting requirements for managers and HR leadership.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensure data integrity within HR systems and update employee data in the HRIS, including new hires, terminations, offboarding, transfers, promotions, terminations, organizational changes, and employee demographic information.
- Convert, organize, and maintain confidential employee records and HR documents within shared electronic filing systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data privacy compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws by assisting with audits and compliance activities as well as maintaining required workplace postings, supporting policy adherence, and partnering with site leadership on employment-related compliance initiatives.
The experience we're looking for
- For this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 yrs experience in a fast paced administrative or HR support environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to work a rotational evening schedule 3-4x per month in support of our 24/7 operation
- Previous manufacturing or large retail experience is a plus
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- This role is 100% on site
