About the role
The Training Manager leads the development and execution of training strategies that build workforce capability, ensure compliance, and support business objectives. Partnering with Operations, Quality, EHS, HR, and Compliance leaders, this role drives workforce development, competency programs, and continuous learning initiatives to strengthen organizational performance and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute training strategies, competency programs, and role-based learning plans aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Partner with leaders and SMEs to identify training needs and deliver effective learning solutions.
- Design, maintain, and improve training systems, materials, and assessment processes.
- Monitor training effectiveness, compliance, and workforce capability through reporting and performance metrics.
- Build trainer capability, source learning resources, and support workforce development initiatives while ensuring training records are accurate, audit-ready, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying skill gaps and enhancing organizational learning and performance.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Training and Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience managing training programs within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food production, or other regulated environments.
- Experience developing training systems, competency programs, training matrices, and compliance-based learning initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training effectiveness measures.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build cross-functional partnerships, and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and training management/Learning Management Systems (LMS).
