About the role

As an Account Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for Accounts Receivable Processing and the methodical review, process, and payment of invoices and promotional activities with a key focus on accuracy. The role involves working closely with the commercial finance, sales, and financial control teams.

Your responsibilities

• Processing of Cash
• Maintaining Major and Small Accounts for Australia & NZ
• Opening Accounts
• Handling Customer Enquiries and contacting customers for payments
• Managing Invalid Invoices and Overpayments and aligning with National Account Managers on final decisions
• Maintaining SOP/Procedures and keeping them up to date
• Processing of remittances
• High volume of processing Sales and stock claims
• Responsible for maintaining Major customers e.g. Metcash, Coles and Pharmacy Wholesalers.
• Emailing of invoices and statements to customers
• Maintaining outstanding claims reports
• Assisting AR Supervisor

The experience we're looking for

• Formal finance qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar
• SAP and EXCEL experience is essential
• Team player and motivated attitude
• Good communication skills
• Adaptable to change
