About the role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and leverage your expertise in both syndicated data analysis and custom research methodologies to shape our market strategies and drive informed decision-making across Essential Home Categories
As the Assistant I&A Manager, you will support the Senior Insights and Analytics manager in driving a consumer-centric business agenda by developing and implementing various projects and capabilities rooted in insight. Your work will support strategic decision-making, ensuring market intelligence, consumer and shopper insights guide all market execution decisions.
Your responsibilities
- Interpret and analyse consumer-based research and performance analytics data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the business.
- Build and sharpen your strategic thinking anchored on data and research to uncover valuable consumer insights that drive business impact.
- Be at the forefront of delivering consumer-centric growth and innovative capabilities, contributing to the development of outperforming Brand portfolios and ensuring insight-anchored executional excellence in all your projects.
- Manage relationship with suppliers (Nielsen, Quantium, etc.).
- Lead and implement Insights agenda for ANZ business.
- Interpret data from multiple sources (e.g. Nielsen, Brand Equity Tracker, Ad-hoc studies, etc.).
- Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to brand and trade marketers and leadership team.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Support consumer-centric commercialization efforts across a wide portfolio.
- Contribute to strategy plans, workshops, and marketing and trade materials with relevant analysis and insights from across consumer, shopper, and market intelligence areas.
The experience we're looking for
- 3+ years of market research/insights experience required
- Involved, “hands on” professional
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence decisions.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Microsoft Office literacy essential).
- Ability to work independently and manage your own projects.
- Proficiency in agile ways of working and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- A curious and creative mindset, open to new ideas and able to propose innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- Team player, inclusive and collaborative
- Proven ability to effectively work across multiple teams & functions
- Proven track record as a top performer within a multi-cultural environment
