About the role

We're looking for a highly commercial and influential Brand Commercial Manager to partner with our Brand and Trade Marketing teams, providing financial clarity and strategic decision support across Reckitt's key ANZ brands.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, and sits at the heart of commercial decision-making, owning Net Revenue (NR) and Gross Margin (GM) performance insights while helping shape brand strategy, profitability, and growth plans. You will be a trusted business partner, translating complex financial data into clear commercial recommendations and ensuring key stakeholders are equipped to make informed decisions.

Success in this role requires strong business acumen, stakeholder influence, and the ability to simplify performance drivers into actionable insights that support both short-term delivery and long-term growth.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the primary finance business partner to Brand and Trade Marketing teams.
  • Own reporting and analysis of Net Revenue and Gross Margin performance across assigned brands.
  • Deliver clear and timely communication of COGS movements and margin impacts to stakeholders.
  • Provide financial decision support for key business forums including IMEX and PGR.
  • Lead and support brand-based commercial projects and profitability initiatives.
  • Analyse and communicate Brand LSM financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Develop clear explanations of underlying gross margin performance, separating operational noise from genuine performance drivers.
  • Influence commercial decision-making by providing insight-led recommendations on pricing, volume, innovation, and portfolio opportunities.
  • Ensure all financial information presented within decision-making forums is aligned with Finance leadership and appropriately briefed beforehand.
  • Partner with Supply Finance, Sales Controlling, and Commercial teams to deliver a single source of truth for financial performance.

The experience we're looking for

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Category Finance, Sales Finance or Brand Finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of revenue, margin and profitability drivers within a consumer goods environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting commercial decision-making through financial analysis and insight generation.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to simplify complex financial information into compelling business stories.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment would be advantageous.
