About the role

Seize the opportunity to become a Financial Accountant with Reckitt, where you'll do much more than crunch numbers – you'll play a pivotal role in charting our financial course. At Reckitt, your expertise will guide us through the complexities of VAT, tax, and fiscal accuracy. We're not just looking for someone who is good with numbers; we seek a finance maestro ready to build relationships, influence change, and drive continuous improvement in our dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:
- Lead the delivery of precise and on-time financial reporting, including VAT, tax, and financial statements.
- Be the go-to for building robust processes and controls to ensure accurate accounting.
- Collaborate with our outsourced finance team, ensuring the alignment of financial information, and offering feedback for an efficient month-end process.
- Review and enhance financial policies and procedures, consistently striving for the betterment of our practices.
- Contribute to the year-end audit with preparations and the creation of statutory accounts.
- Constantly empower stronger controls and reconciliations for more effective accounting and timely reporting.

The experience we're looking for

- Hands-on proficiency in the financial reporting cycle post-qualification.
- Proven ability to work effectively with outsourced teams and build strong professional relationships.
- Skilled in critically reviewing work processes and suggesting impactful improvements.
- Able to engage proactively with stakeholders at all levels, with a readiness to challenge and influence where necessary.
- Comfortable navigating high-pressure situations and apt at meeting tight deadlines.
- A relentless agent of change, always seeking ways to enhance business processes.
