About the role

This is a key finance business partner role within the finance organization.  This position will work cross-functionally with the Supply leadership to drive strategic initiatives and will work with various functional leaders in a fast-paced environment on strategic and financial issues to help drive positive change in the organization.

This individual will lead Supply Finance reporting & Gross Margin management for Reckitt Canada business and work collaboratively with leadership team & functional leads to drive country Gross Margin - while providing right analytical inputs & holding each function responsible for the P&L delivery. Also, this role will lead the operational cadence on Logistics, Warehousing & inventory management along with Supply team - including various ad hoc analyses, as well as responsible for providing financial expertise and analysis grounded on strong understanding of business & internal and external data.

This individual will not be afraid of getting his/her hands into the details to navigate seamlessly through a variety of tasks and effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced organization, while also strategically working on defining the key priorities in the multi-year Supply Planning.

As such we are seeking a commercially minded, pragmatic and enthusiastic Finance Leader who can seamlessly work with our Supply & Finance colleagues spread across functions & also our global factories to drive and deliver value to the organisation.
 

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Finance Planning & Business partnering:
    • Work with Supply teams to continually optimise spends, while driving strategic choices
    • Driving meaningful analytics on underlying Margin performance – Including portfolio mix discussions in right forums.
    • Drive robust understanding & reporting of End-to-End Margin in the organisation - Including driving Margins through regular operational actions & decisions.
  • Lead the Planning & Forecasting process for Supply:
    • Lead Canada Supply Planning & Forecasting process, partnering with Supply Director.
    • Prepare & review the Supply cost plans and forecasts for alignment with business objectives.
    • Key contributor to the overall country Planning & Forecasting process.
  • Business Partnering & Spends Analytics:
    • Monthly Supply KPI reviews along with Supply & business leadership - Driving spend management & keeping the Management Team updated with any variances and supporting analytics to drive actions.
    • Supply cost analytics to drive right Supply KPI discussions, Productivity update and budget-variance analytics.
    • Partnering closely with Supply Director to drive overall strategic functional priorities.
    • Driving Supply-led cost productivity initiatives, including Sourcing studies, Warehousing cost optimisation, Freight process improvements
  • Right Systems & Processes:
    • Taking up projects to significantly simplify work for the team - Leveraging advanced systems.
    • Ensure financial management reporting and processes are in place to support the ongoing needs of the business, including setting up the right systems & tools to de-complexify regular reporting
    • Business partner Sales Director as a strategic partner and expert on financial matters providing guidance and assistance also to other functions/finance teams as needed.

The experience we're looking for

 

  • Professional Finance certifications, such as CA/CPA/CMA/MBA
  • 5-7 years of post-qualification work experience
  • Highly Preferred - Commercial Finance or FP&A experience in CPG industry.
