About the role

As part of Finance Transformation at Reckitt, your role will be pivotal in revolutionising our Finance processes and evolving how Finance activities are delivered across our organisation, with a focus on improving consistency and standardisation, simplifying ways of working and enabling scalability in Planning & Business Partnering.  The role will focus on creating a more connected and collaborative operating model through best-in-class enterprise-wide processes enabled by greater use of technology and automation. You’ll work closely with teams in markets and factories to co-develop approaches that reflect local needs while aligning with broader business goals. You will be the orchestrator of change, propelling the Finance team towards our vision of becoming a world class Finance function. Your responsibilities

The role will be instrumental in designing and implementing simplified future fit processes and structures that enable better insights and outcomes. You will build and operationalise a new Finance operating model; design, build and deployment of the future Finance activities. It will encompass analysis of business requirements and partnership with stakeholders across the business to align and approve new simplified and standardised processes, building capability across both project and operational teams, management of the transition and development of new roles, responsibilities, RACI, operational cadence, and associated governance model. You will leverage the wider enterprise processes, systems and technology needed to deliver a future proof Finance decision support model underpinned by strong data integrity and automation.

You will be responsible for identification and management of inter-dependencies across other Finance workstreams and across other enterprise-wide Transformation programmes, ensuring risks and issues are mitigated whilst capitalising on synergies wherever possible.

Finance transformation is about enabling our teams to focus more on strategic value add work, supported by better processes, tools and data. It’s a collaborative journey that will only be possible through partnership and collaboration across all teams.

  • Design and implement Reckitt’s standardised future Planning and Business Partnering processes.
  • Work with key stakeholders from specific markets/factories to obtain input and guidance on the design and implementation.
  • Support the development of a future-state RACI.
  • Utilise a high level of process proficiency and considerable experience to build capability within both the project and end-state operating teams, allowing for the smooth integration of any new processes into business-as-usual practice.
  • Prepare and present updates to programme leadership and workstream leads.
  • Champion the new P&BP operating model, working closely with the OCM team to ensure it is adopted.

The experience we're looking for

  • Recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Considerable experience in Commercial Finance/Manufacturing Finance & FP&A with a good understanding of Reckitt’s processes and ways of working
  • Understanding of data and information flow and dependencies in FP&A and wider Finance processes
  • Good knowledge of decision-making structures at Reckitt
  • Experience in driving and implementing process and technology improvement initiatives locally or globally.
  • Experience of working in a dynamic, high performing team, time-pressured and results oriented environment, globally and with virtual teams.
  • Excellent networking skills (across multiple functions, business units, external stakeholders) and competence in change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent English language skills both verbal and written.
  • Effective and impactful communication skills with an ability to articulate complex concepts in concise language.
