Global Corporate Security

Our Global Corporate Security & Resilience function is dedicated to protecting Reckitt’s people, operations, assets, and reputation across an increasingly complex global environment. About the role

As part of Reckitt’s strategic global plans for the future, we are looking for an experienced, proactive, innovative and focused individual for this senior leadership role within our Global Corporate Security team. This is a new role requiring strategic vision, operational expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a complex environment.

 

Reporting to the Global Director Corporate Security & Resilience, the Head of Security Operations is a global role who will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Reckitt’s global physical security policy, standards, assurance activity, asset protection, investigations and loss prevention frameworks. This role ensures the protection of people, assets, and operations across all sites, globally and throughout the extended supply chain. As a member of the senior leadership team, the role drives enterprise-wide security risk mitigation while leading a high-performing team of Corporate Security professionals.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, rollout, and governance of Reckitt’s Physical Security Policy and associated global standards.
  • Provide effective oversight of security governance processes, audits, assessments, and assurance activities to validate policy effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain a modern and future-proofed physical and technical security strategy (CCTV, Access Control, IDS), including governance, lifecycle management, integration, efficiency and performance measures.
  • Drive global standardisation, compliance, and oversight of the design and implementation of physical security controls across Reckitt.
  • Lead the European regional security team, managing budget responsibility, stakeholder relationships, and the implementation of global security standards across manufacturing, R&D, commercial and corporate environments.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local regulatory security requirements through audits, assessments, reporting frameworks, KPIs and dashboards.
  • Lead enterprise security operations, supply chain risk management and global investigations programmes, working closely with HR, Legal, law enforcement and external partners.

The experience we're looking for

  • Progressive leadership experience in global physical security, ideally within manufacturing, supply chain or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-site operations and supply chain security in regulated environments.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and lead global, remote teams.
  • Background in policy development and standards implementation.
  • Experience with UK, European and US security regulations and best practices.
  • Experience managing third-party security contracts and budgets.
  • Degree in Security, Risk, Business or a related field and/or professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CEM or CSyp.
