About the role

The Packaging Engineer has an active role in managing new NPI projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams with responsibilities in creating packaging specifications for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary items.

Your responsibilities

•Design and development experience: Create and develop packaging designs for new and existing products – including for E-commerce business.

•Material selection: Source and evaluate a variety of packaging materials with supplier’s support, considering factors like cost, sustainability, and performance.

•Specification and testing: Develop packaging specifications, conduct trials to ensure packaging meets all requirements and regulations.

•Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams like marketing, Category, R&D, Quality and manufacturing to align packaging with product and shipping needs.

•Lead packaging material laboratory tests, packaging line trials and transport tests during implementation phase.

•Project management: Manage packaging projects, including timelines and budgets, from conception to production.

•Documentation: Maintain all packaging-related documentation and records.

•Identify and deliver packaging cost savings initiatives.

•Support Quality Team to improve consume experience and costumers requirements.

The experience we're looking for

At least 2-3 years in Packaging business.

Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures.

Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience with relevant software, such as PLM, SAP and design software
