  • Technical Development: Collaborate with R&D, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to develop, test, and validate new materials, formats, and technologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Regulatory to ensure alignment and execution of packaging innovation plans.
  • Vendor Engagement: Identify and manage external partners (suppliers, design agencies, technology providers) to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
  • Cost Optimization: Balance innovation and cost-effectiveness through efficient design, material selection, and operational feasibility.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of packaging projects using stage-gate or agile methodologies while managing risks and resolving issues proactively.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure packaging meets all regulatory, safety, and quality standards globally or regionally, as applicable.

The experience we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in packaging innovation, preferably in FMCG.

The skills for success

  • Proven experience in developing packaging for Surface Care or Laundry categories is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of packaging manufacturing processes (e.g., blow moulding, flexibles, rigid plastics, printing, filling lines).
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and design thinking.
  • Experience working in a global or regional role with multi-market exposure.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainable materials and circular design principles.
