About the role
This is a fast paced and dynamic role to assist implementing assigned delivery projects and initiatives from proof of principle feasibility to successful handover to Category and/or IP submission.
Your responsibilities
- Proper operation, standardization & maintenance of laboratory equipment and working space
- Maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks and results
- Following the Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements
- Maintaining supplies inventory and order items when needed
- Ensuring that all development activities on assigned projects conforms to legislative, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements, including the adoption and tracking of laboratory best practices
- Participate in projects carrying out e.g.: Production of lab samples and samples for Performance tests, Analytical tests, Stability tests
- Conduct performance and analysis evaluations of new raw materials and competitive products
- Suggest improvements on the products, methods or management of the laboratory
- Read, understand and apply SOP protocols as per Reckitt Quality Manual and QMS requirements for the role.
The experience we're looking for
- Qualification as laboratory assistant
- High School/University qualification in Chemistry, Biology or Biochemistry
- Good knowledge of Italian and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Technical and scientific experience in method development and/or analysis in Research & Development environment
- Experience in applying technical know-how to development of consumer products is advantageous
- Ability to understand basic requirements during practical implementation of innovation including in a manufacturing set/up
- Understanding of physical and chemical principles
