Job Responsibilities
- Manages & monitor site quality performance reporting requirements including root cause analysis corrective action and implementation to ensure compliance to QMS.
- Perform or review manufacturing non-conformances reports, CAPA, failure investigations and audit findings to report manufacturing related issues that may impact quality and recommend courses of corrective action.
- Prepare and analyze metrics for EM, CAPA, suppliers’ performance to drive continuous improvement
- Interface with suppliers to ensure product meets specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures for batch release
- Develop knowledge of QC testing programs and capabilities.
- Assist in securing information for investigation, root cause, preventative action and closure of non-conformities.
- Assist in the design and execution of validation protocols when required.
- Assist in development and implementation of quality and productivity improvement projects.
- Perform HACCP GMP, Reckitt Nutrition Standards verification and other quality and compliance audits as required.
- Ensure updates are made to the HACCP and Food Safety Plans based on impact of changes in the plant from a Hazard Assessment & Risk based approach.
- Drive continuous improvement activities on the production line with training, SOP updates, etc
- Other duties may be assigned.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (science/ engineering/ food processing, etc)
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes and engage with personnel to secure information for quality issue resolution.
- Become proficient with Optiva, GLIMS and other systems
- Initial concept of HACCP/ Food Safety principles.
- PCQI Certification is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 0-2+ years’ experience /knowledge of Food Manufacturing, HACCP, FSMA regulations, Low Acid Food regulations, Infant Formula regulations, Aseptic processing and other requirements such as Kosher and Halal preferred.
- 0-2+ years working with statistical tools and problem solving.
- Must have strong computer technical skills, data analysis.
- Must be able to work and influence cross functional teams, self-motivated, design to solve problems and drive programs/teams to completion.

US salary ranges
USD $72,000.00 - $90,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
