About the role

Business Process Owner (BPO)  OTC Finance  includes Sales & Accounts Receivable (AR)  and is a strategic and challenging role deploying technologically driven OTC Finance (AR & Sales) processes in SAP ERP system whilst working with various local business units, ensuring compliance with globally defined processes. 

The scope includes Invoice Receipt (EDI), Payment collection, Cash Allocation, Goods Receipt, Stock Returns, Credit Limit Management, Collection Management and Dispute Management,OR be a Subject matter expert in the area of pricing, promotional spend, rebates, accruals, settlements and customer master data. The roleincludesinterfaces to critical front office systems including Siebel (CRM), High Radius and Remote Order.

Your responsibilities

  • Structure, present and facilitate business change assessment workshops to identify country variances to the global operating model
  • Responsible to review, challenge and escalate change for approval as required. Minimise the number of ‘local’ process exceptions
  • Lead Change Control Board meetings
  • To drive change management activities required by global finance initiatives
  • Provide process expertise to project teams re process in scope
  • Point of escalation for any process related change request from deployment teams
  • Creates, updates and maintains relevant documentation based on changes to global template (including SOPs, User Guides, training materials).
  • Responsible for the definition, execution and approval of system testing (including scripts).
  • Work with operating model & controls teams to ensure early identification of country variances to standard processes
  • Work with country teams to drive the implementation of pre-requisites and alignment to operating model.
  • Proactively identifies internal and external best practices that will enable improvement of the deployment methodology or end-to-end processes

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience of working in a complex, matrix organisation with a global scope. FMCG experience desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain, Sales & Finance processes
  • Ability to engage and manage different level stakeholders and multicultural audience/s through superior communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with and manage conflict
  • Ability to manage multi-layered project/s with inter-dependencies
  • Project Mgmt., 6 Sigma qualification
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA 
  • Openness to business trips (about 40% of working time)
