About the role

This is a strategic and challenging role designing & deploying optimized Quality Business Processes and technologically driven solutions in SAP systems.

The role involves working with various business units, locally and globally, across manufacturing and commercial, ensuring compliance with globally defined processes, as well as alongside Global Process Owners, Super Users, Site Management, Site End Users, other BPO’s, SAP Business Analysts & Solution Architects, etc, to enable successful continuous improvements and support to the deployments.

Your responsibilities

  • Support to country/factory project teams with functional expertise in E2E Quality processes, by leading fit gap, development, testing, organizational readiness, change management, go live and Hypercare.
  • Driving continuous improvement in Quality functional area.
  • Structure, present and facilitate fit & change workshops to identify site/country variances to the global template.
  • Ensure financial and operational controls are in place and in line with the process.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance aspects are in place.
  • Document and maintain the Key Design Principle in functional area.
  • Compile and maintain respective Template Process documentation.
  • Review, challenge and process appropriate change requests.
  • Review local process variations to standard model.
  • Minimize the number of ‘local’ process exceptions or deviations.
  • Provide process expertise to project teams regarding Quality processes.
  • Be a point of escalation for any process related change request.
  • Write, review and sign off process documentation & SOP’s including country localizations.

The experience we're looking for

  • Detailed knowledge of end-to-end quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge, experience and understanding of Quality, with specific strength in Manufacturing Quality and knowledge of Commercial Quality process.
  • Knowledge in other process areas where there are touchpoints with Planning like Procurement, Production, Warehousing, Production, Maintenance etc an advantage.
  • Good understanding and experience with quality management methodologies and tools.
  • Hands on experience in quality laboratory practice, quality control, inspection, results recording, usage disposition, stock statuses, batch management, stability, release process, certificates, defect management, quality assurance, supplier evaluation, etc.
  • Experience of working with SAP QM, an advantage.
  • Having high level understanding in other touchpoint areas (Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, Planning), an advantage.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a Quality function in a complex, matrix organization with a global scope. (ideally, 10+ years manufacturing quality experience).
  • Previous experience in a Business Process Owner role an advantage.
