About the role
As the Commercial Accounting Manager RTR, you will oversee accounting and financial reporting for commercial operations. You will ensure compliance with global policies, manage month-end close, and provide insights to support business decisions. This role involves collaboration with commercial teams and leadership to drive accuracy and efficiency.
Your responsibilities
· Lead commercial accounting activities, including revenue recognition and expense management
· Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and internal controls
· Manage month-end close and prepare financial statements for commercial operations
· Collaborate with commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
· Oversee trade spend accounting, including validation, reconciliation, and matching of accruals against actuals across multiple channels and promotional types
· Partner with commercial and sales finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of trade spend commitments
· Analyze variances between planned and actual trade spend to identify root causes and support corrective actions
· Maintain robust accrual matching processes to ensure financial integrity and timely recognition of liabilities
· Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
· Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
· Monitor KPIs and ensure timely reporting
The experience we're looking for
· Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in commercial operations
· Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and expense accounting
· Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong leadership and communication abilities
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
