About the role

As the GBS Order to Cash (OTC) Senior Analyst you will support Order-to-Cash (OTC) activities across supported markets, focusing on complex execution, review, and issue analysis within the GBS OTC organization. 

This role supports the OTC Manager and provides guidance to the OTC Analysts to ensure an accurate execution, high-quality reconciliations, and timely resolution of issues related to disputes, deductions, trade spend accounting, and returns-related accruals. The role requires strong analytical skills and judgment to handle higher more complex and judgemental areas of the End-to-End OTC process (including trade spend).  

The specific mix of E2E OTC activities within the scope of the role may evolve over time based on business priorities and workload allocation. 

Your responsibilities

  • Review and support in the posting of complex OTC-related accounting entries, including trade spend and returns-related accruals and reserves 

  • Perform and review reconciliations related to disputes, deductions, trade spend, and returns balances, ensuring timely identification and analysis of reconciling items 

  • Support resolution of complex disputes and deductions by analyzing root causes and coordinating with relevant stakeholders such as Sales or Customer Services 

  • Review work performed by OTC Analysts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined ways of working 

  • Support preparation and review of OTC reporting and analytics, highlighting trends, risks, and issues for escalation 

  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Controllership to clarify accounting treatment and support issue resolution 

  • Identify risks, judgment areas, or data quality issues and escalate them to the OTC Manager as appropriate 

  • Support standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across OTC processes 

  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness and data integrity 

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in Order-to-Cash, accounting, or related finance operations 
  • Strong understanding of OTC processes, including disputes, deductions, trade spend accounting, returns-related accruals, and reconciliations 
  • Experience working in a shared services or process-driven environment preferred 
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply judgment within defined processes
