About the role

The Team Leader – Commercial Finance for Global Finance Services is responsible for supporting the Regional Finance team and their activities. This roles involves acting as a tactical business partner to the Finance Organisation and supporting functions, by translating their strategies into actionable plans and implementing profitability improvement and growth initiatives. This role is based in our GBS in Warsaw.

Your responsibilities

Managing a team of 3-4 analysts,
Support the implementation of Commercial Finance strategies and targets / KPIs as well as the management reportscatalogue.
Act as a strategic business partner to the Finance organisation and the supporting functions, translating strategies into actionable plans to improve growth and profitability.
Analyse end-to-end financial performance (including P&L) to recommendactionable insights and implement corrective actions to meet financial plans.
Support the end-to-end planning and management reporting processes.
Perform deep dive Variance analysis to determine root causes of deviation and evaluate business performance
Prepare plans, forecasts and management reports required by the Global FP&A Organisation and Market Retained Teams
Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Monitor compliance with corporate governance requirements and support external audits.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.

The experience we're looking for

Commercial finance or FP&A experience, including team leadership.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis incl. variance analysis, P&L, and Balance sheet.
Proven ability to deliver business insights and support decision-making.
Experience in planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g. SAP, Hyperion).
Fluent in English;
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CFA) is a plus.
