The vision of the Connected Planning team is to be an effective enabler to delivery of sustainable best in class service levels, with optimum inventory and cost management. This is achieved through development and deployment of efficient tools and processes, clear and transparent communication, and cross functional collaboration and alignment with our Compass at the heart of everything we do.
As a Connected Planning Manager you will focus to drive outstanding planning capabilities and ensure all supply and demand functions are working towards agreed plan in order to achieve desired KPI’s. Both your business and interpersonal skills will be critical in order to lead processes in the region and drive proper collaboration across markets, factories and all business partners.
Your responsibilities
- Leading communication streams in structural way between markets and factories. Providing governance around demand & supply balancing with a holistic, un-biased viewpoint managing all stakeholders.
- Working closely with Manufacturing and Demand Planning teams to optimize the end-to-end supply chain in terms of cost, efficiency, go-to-market lead time reduction.
- Working with Site Planning Leads to ensure continuity of supply and maximize service to market.
- Working with market Demand Planners/Demand Analysts to ensure that there is right forecast enrichment done which reflects the latest demand.
- Providing full visibility on supply across markets, assure transparency on product availability with early identification and quick solution of any potential issues.
- Overseeing the short-, mid- and long-term supply plan. Identify opportunities to drive focus on exceptions e.g. Service Level Projections, ABC analysis, Repeat OOS etc
- Setting up inventory targets and manage their execution
- Scenario planning: conducting ad-hoc cost/ benefit analysis on various options to balance supply and demand, to be presented to regional leadership and in various forums.
- Monitor and consolidate Obsoletes/Provisioned items across EU/ANZ to align clearance strategies.
- Driving the necessary visibility to hold key stakeholders (for example IMEX, Factory & Commercial) accountable for following appropriate processes & procedures designed & continuously improved to max the metrics referenced in the scope
- Partnering with Centre of Excellence to define and execute process and systems trainings to raise the bar of planning competences within the category or region. Drive continuous improvements through standardization and simplification of work processes.
The experience we're looking for
- Solid knowledge of end to end supply chain processes (connecting Demand, Supply and S&OP), ability to understand and explain complex issues/datasets & to propose solutions
- Experience in supply and demand planning, preferably in FMCG sector
- SAP ECC/APO, Kinaxis is essential, APICS CPIM / CSCP is preferable.
- Excellent management and personal leadership skillset, with an ability to build robust relationships with multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
- Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with various stakeholders, tasks prioritization
- Strong presentation, communication and inter-personal skills
- Positive & Can-Do attitude with a clear and effective communication style.
- Ability to challenge constructively and confidently, using analytical skillset
- Fluent spoken & written English
