Payroll and Benefits Senior Analyst will be supporting project to transition and implement payroll into a HR Shared Service. Will be responsible for collecting information working with internal teams and providers, process inputs and run controls to check parallel runs calculations from the new provider. Ensure accuracy on the implementation and cooperates with different parties and project team to make sure all Payrolls are compliant. Confirms quality services are provided by external parties and identifies process improvement opportunities during implementation.
Our current focus is on Germany, so specialist from that regions are very welcomed.
Your responsibilities
- Cooperate closely with local in-country teams to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time for your respective market.
- Analyze variance and payroll controls for accurate payslip generation.
- Provide expertise on payroll issues, resolve employee queries, and solicit advisement for complex queries.
- Ensure adherence to compliance.
- Manage payroll reports for respective markets.
- Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments.
- Process benefit costs, like insurance fees and sick leaves.
- Manage payment calendars for the fiscal year.
- Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders (third-party vendors, government authorities).
- Take a significant part in payroll-related projects, e.g. process automation, and system integration.
The experience we're looking for
- You are fluent in German and English. Any other European language would be a big advantage (e. g. Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish).
- You ideally have 3 - 4 years of experience in payroll, specifically within the German market.
- You have a strong customer service orientation.
- You are feeling comfortable with working in Excel.
- You are a team player – empathetic, supportive, and collaborative.
- You’re able to successfully juggle multiple priorities.
