The Demand Analyst Manager role sits within the central Connected Planning structure and is key to delivering a best-in-class baseline forecast for the commercial business. This position combines advanced analytical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring accurate forecasting and driving continuous improvement across markets.
Your responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with system experts to ensure all IT capabilities are utilized in predicting sales trends. Maestro (Kinaxis), PBI and more to come.
- Establish a weekly process using exception-based planning reports to adjust forecasts as necessary, aligned with Reckitt’s KPIs.
- Prepare statistical forecasts across the assigned portfolio to maintain a strong baseline forecast.
- Hold consensus meetings with demand planners to address changes to the process, projects and calendars.
- Use analytical, marketing, and sales data to estimate future product demand for tactical (1–6 months) and strategic (7–24 months) forecasts. Sense checks the data and guides the markets in long term forecasting process.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Monitor and report on significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Have the autonomy to challenge when necessary.
Additional Responsibilities as Manager
- Lead for main/most challenging markets (e.g., UKI).
- Manage 2 to 4 direct report – Junior/Demand Analysts. Their scope, development, calendars, capacity and replacements.
- Mentor and support Demand Analysts and Junior Demand Analysts, sharing knowledge and experience, support with the continued improvement projects.
- Provide leadership support in case of absence of senior management.
- Prepare and execute financial reports (e.g., FC1/2/3).
- Drive personal development and explore new role opportunities (PDP in place and executed) for yourself and for the Team.
The experience we're looking for
- A university degree in Econometrics, Statistics other data-related science;
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge, deep understanding of statistical models. Big data reports, analysis;
- Experience in demand forecasting and ERP systems, like Kinaxis (beneficial, not necessary);
- Interest in machine learning and advanced analytics (mainly as a user and tech team counter partner);
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills; Ability to build the effective cooperation between the HUB and commercial partners;
- Self-driven and proactive approach;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel).
