About the role

As a senior leader within the Factory Planning Capability team, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening factory planning processes, tools, and capabilities across Europe. This role sits at the intersection of E2E supply expertise, factory operations, process excellence, and system adoption (Kinaxis/E2E Planning). You will ensure that factories consistently use global standards, processes, and tools while respecting their operational realities. Acting as a bridge between factory planning teams, regional stakeholders, and Global Centre of Excellence, you will assess current maturity levels, define improvement plans, and lead capability-building initiatives across European factories.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead system adoption for Kinaxis/E2E Planning and ensure planning processes align with global tool capabilities.
  • Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement across factories, ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • Conduct AS‑IS assessments, define improvement opportunities, and lead the implementation of best practices.
  • Help defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the region.
  • Perform process maturity assessments and create action plans to elevate factory planning maturity.
  • Support and coach factory planners in daily planning activities, troubleshooting and capability building.
  • Collaborate with Production Planners, Connected Planning teams, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Contribute to RCCP processes, factory agility improvements, and KPI-driven performance enhancement.
  • Work with IT and system experts to configure and optimise production planning tools.
  • Manage 1 FTE and ensure effective knowledge sharing through a Community of Practice.
  • Provide analytical insights, data-driven recommendations, and structured problem-solving guidance.
  • Travel approximately 10% across European factories, with occasional visits to the UK.

The experience we're looking for

  • 2+ years of direct factory planning experience (production planning, scheduling, daily operations).
  • 5+ years E2E supply exposure, including an understanding of how demand fluctuations impact factory execution.
  • Experience in centralisation or transformation projects involving planning teams.
  • Strong experience in process design, mapping, maturity assessments and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with planning systems (Kinaxis preferred; any ERP tool required).
  • Strong analytical thinking, data competence and ability to work with highly numerical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, independent, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership.
  • Fluency in English – C1
