About the role
The Manufacturing Execution System [MES] Product Owner for Hygiene defines the strategic
vision and roadmap for the Reckitt’s MES platform [based on AVEVA ], ensuring alignment with
the organization’s operations digitalization strategy. This role drives business value by
building purpose fit MES capabilities, cultivating strategic vendor relationships, and
overseeing the full product lifecycle from ideation, deployment to continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities
• Builds MES strategy and defines features in line with operational goals and compliance
standards.
• Owns the MES product vision, strategy, and roadmap to manufacturing, quality, and
broader supply chain teams.
• Ensure s MES scalability , deep integration with but not limited to ERP, PLM, and shop -floor
systems and regulatory compliance.
• Develop business cases for investment, publishes and tracks value realization.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for MES projects.
• Monitor MES performance and user adoption, driving continuous improvement.
• Engage with vendors and monitor industry trends for solution upgrades to enhance MES
capabilities.
The experience we're looking for
- Lead MES strategy, architecture, and deployment within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Manage MES vendors and support continuous improvement of AVEVA MES solutions.
- Use MES data and KPIs to drive operational performance and strategic decision-making.
- Support Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT, AI, and cloud-based manufacturing solutions.
- Partner with operations teams to optimize high-speed batch processing and packaging activities.
- Contribute to budgeting, ROI analysis, and cost optimization for MES initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant manufacturing and regulatory standards, including CFR21 and ISO requirements.
The skills for success
- Strong strategic and data-driven mindset.
- Experience in FMCG/CPG manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of MES systems and digital manufacturing technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Background in chemicals, household care products, or supply chain operations is an advantage
